Question How to make laptop use external monitor after disconnecting laptop monitor?

I have been having issues with my laptop because since it has a broken screen, I have been using an external monitor for the past few days and I could still use it when suddenly my laptop was using standard vga graphic adapter and was not able to use another monitor I tried disconnecting the laptops monitor so that it will be forced to use another monitor. But its not, even when I prezs the hotkeys nothing seems to work pls help

reinstall the latest graphics driver if possible

How do you know it´s "using standard vga graphic adapter"?

other than that, get a display for about 60$, depending on which laptop you have.
