How to move files from phone to sd without a computer

Solution
If it's a micro SdCard, put it in the phone, make sure it's mounted and see if your File Manager App can manage the job. If it can't, a better one is Root File Manager which you can download from the Play Store - look for the yellow icon - free of charge.

You don't need to root the phone to use it and it will give you the facility to copy files fromone folder to another.

Make sure the card you transfer to really is the external - Android confuses matters by describing the internal storage as an SdCcard.

If you're running the latest Marshmallow flavour of Android, you will need to decide to use the card as Portable Storage in Settings.
