I have an S8 and when I go into 'Preferences' I only have 'Weather' and 'Getting Around'. There is no 'Assistant Voice' option even though I have English (US) set as my default language.

ACaughlin, it sounds like you need to download the google assistant from the Google Playstore first.

There is almost NO variation in the voices. It's more like a girl, a butch girl, a guy, and a chill guy.

How about some English and Australian accents? Maybe a ghetto voice or two, also! Samuel L. Jackson (uncensored) would be awesome!
