How to Post a Job Opportunity on LinkedIn

As a social networking website for professionals, LinkedIn allows you to post job opportunities. However posting a job on LinkedIn is not free, and you are required to pay for a posting.

At the time of this writing, LinkedIn offers three job posting methods with different features available under different payment plans. You can choose whichever one you prefer.

Note: In order to post a job on LinkedIn, you must choose a company from the available list, and you must be authorized to post the jobs on behalf of the selected company.

The process below explains how you can post a job opportunity on LinkedIn:

    ■Using your favorite web browser sign in to your LinkedIn account.
    ■On the Home page, click the Account & Settings icon (icon with the profile picture) from the top-right corner.
    ■From the available options, click the Manage link representing Job Posting.

    ■On the next interface, click the Post a job button to continue.

    ■In the Build your job postings window, populate the fields with the accurate information to build a job.
    ■Once this is done, ensure that correct payment option radio button is selected from the bottom and click Continue.

    ■In the next step, check the Yes, Sponsor my job checkbox and populate the fields with the suitable values. Alternatively, if you don’t want to sponsor your job, uncheck the Yes, Sponsor my job checkbox.
    ■Click Continue from the bottom to proceed.

    ■If prompted, provide your login credentials in the appropriate fields.

10. On the next screen, provide your payment details in the appropriate fields, and follow the on-screen instructions to post the job.
