You set the password in the security section of the bios. Once you set it don't forget it.

Yes, if you forget it you don't get a second chance. But it's a good chance that you can clear the password by taking the battery out on the motherboard and replacing it. That will clear the settings in CMOS that BIOS gets it's stored info the hardware and computer settings from.
