How to Remove a LinkedIn Connection

Although it'is unlikely that you would ever want to remove a LinkedIn connection from your profile, you might want to do so if any particular connection is behaving obnoxiously or you think the connection may harm your reputation.

The process of removing a LinkedIn connection is more or less identical to the process of removing any contact from other social networking websites. The removal process includes visiting the unwanted user’s profile, and clicking the appropriate button to remove the contact.

Here's how:

■Log on to your computer system.
    ■Open your favorite web browser.
■Open the LinkedIn website by typing www.linkedin.com in the address bar and pressing Enter.
■If prompted, provide your credentials in the appropriate fields and click the Sign In button.
■On the Home page, hover mouse over the Connections menu from the menu bar at the top.
■From the displayed list, click Keep in Touch.

Note: Once you remove any of the connections from your LinkedIn profile, you must re-send a connection request to the user if you ever want to add him/her back to your connections.
