How to repair bose headphones

I have a pair of QC2 headphones, with the plastic cracked on both sides, right above the ear cups, on the inside. There are 2 screws attaching these pieces; can they be replaced?

You can buy parts, ONLY from a Bose dealer, and these are very expensive. But yes, if you care to pay through the nose, they will sell you parts.
