Has it ever happened to you that you are looking for information on a certain topic and have found a detailed 4 page article on a website, but you just don’t have the time to read it now? And since you found this article after maybe an hour of research you are not sure whether you will be able to dig it out of the history files either. Well if you are using Safari on your MacBook Pro, then there’s a nifty little feature which allows you to save an article or a webpage so that you can read it later on with a single click. Follow these steps below to save articles automatically on your MacBook Pro so that you can read them alter.

Step 1
Open ‘Safari’ and go to the desired webpage.

Step 2
Click on the ‘Bookmarks’ tab on the overhead menu.

Step 3
Click on the ‘Add to Reading List’ option in the drop down menu. You can also use the shortcut specified next to it and skip both steps 2 and 3 from next time onwards.

Step 4
Click on the ‘View’ tab on the overhead menu

Step 5
Click on the ‘Show Reading List’ option in the drop down menu. You can also use the shortcut specified next to it and skip both steps 4 and 5 from next time onwards.

Step 6
On the left side of your browser window all items added to the reading list will be shown.

Step 7
You can click on the ‘All’ button to see all the saved webpages or the ‘Unread’ button to view those you haven’t read yet.

You can also click on the ‘Cross’ right next to each item to delete it.
