how to set up subtitles

I want to set up subtitles on my Samsung tab2 and Galaxy 5. How do I do it ?

Can you be a little more specific? Subtitles for what? A movie? Generally speaking, if it's not hardcoded into the file, you will need a separate file made specifically for the subtitles. Not all media players can support that. You're going to need to provide more exact details.
