how to start asus computer.

when i start the computer it only gives me an option ,esc &press F2

I'm betting it's a message about a missing 'BOOTMGR', or something similar. Usually you only see ESC and F2 as options to retry with the existing hard drive (ESC) or to specify a different boot order (F2).
