I don't know if you guys have experienced the same issue...

sometimes my search engine changes the Setting to Yahoo without my permission (I have the default Search Engine: Google)

Even after I deleted Yahoo from my search engine...it still happened from time to time.

So how to let Yahoo disappear from my Search Engine List permanently?

Do you have any extensions/add-ons installed in your browser? What browser(s) are you using?

Have you scanned for malware recently?
1. I have some extensions but mainly from Google (GA4, Google Tag Manager)
2. I am using Google Chrome
3. Not recently...I have MCAFee installed on my computer...but people said MCAFee might change the search engine setting...I am not sure if that is the case...

McAfee is terrible. You would be better served just using the built-in Defender. Seriously.

The search settings don't change on their own. Something did it. Extensions are one way. Malware another.

Download, install, and run Hitman Pro. Trial version is fine. Remove all identified threats.

Yes... I realized that as well... McAfee is so annoying, sometimes it changes my default setting...

I will run a Malware scan later this week...

Thanks!
