Solved! How to transfer hmdi to woofer sound

I have used hmdi frm my laptop to my tv and now i want to improve the sound by connecting to woofer.

You would need a to get a pre-amp or AVR and send it to that first, than the video to the TV. Some TVs have a return audio channel that you could send to the AVR afterwards.

Since most TV sound sux, what about a Soundbar for the TV, then when u hookup anything to it, BAM!
