How to transfer photos from ipad3 to laptop

I have way too many photos to email. I though I'd be able to transfer them quickly with by data cable, by I can't figure out a way to do it. Pls. I need help! Thanks!

It should be easy, just plug your iPad into your laptop. You should be able to see the iPad as a storage device. Find them and drag them out.

You can also back it up to iCloud and access them that way.

If it doesn't work, try some 3rd party software on your computer, such as Leawo iTransfer.

What kind of computer do you use? Is it a Windows or a Mac?
