How to turn the word predict back on

Go into the phone's "Settings" and then "Language & input". The spell checking option should be in there. It should allow you to turn it off, on, and also edit your dictionary from there.

Note: This will only effect the phone's spell checking ability. So if you use any additionally installed apps that have their own keyboard's, etc., it won't effect them.
