How to unlock my sim

I have assurance wirelss sim i put in my matro phone its asking for sim unlock code how do i get it?

You have to contact either the carrier/service provider that the SIM is from (if it is the SIM that is locked) or contact the carrier/service provider the phone is through and have them unlock the phone.
