How to unlock phenom II x2 555 be on GA-MA74GM-S2 rev 4.1 mobo

hi all,

ive been googling and googling but nothing seems to work.ive been trying to unlock my phenom ii x2 555be to quad but i have no idea what im doing wrong..is it possible my chip cant be unlocked or my mobo is not capable of unlocking it even i have ACC capabilities or my bios version is wrong

and i have ACC on my bios..but whenever i sellect auto nothing happens still x2 and when i select hybrid on my EC firmware my pc froze on boot up :/

Oh sorry , you have newest 740mobo , I forgot it, unlock sometime succes and sometime No .. , in acc select all core or enabled don't let auto.

yes tried those also along with changing EC firmware with hybrid but same result..my pc froze in boot up but it does say Phenom x4 but dont wanna go to windows..without setting the EC to hybrid nothing happens 🙁 ..

No luck .. for the simple reason this motherboard doesn't accept any 125w CPUs ... the phenoms X2s
are 80w CPU's and as soon as you unlock the 4 cores
it becomes 125w.

go bios setting vcore set manual and set minimal raise 0.025 for boot

does updating the bios to latest version help?

I think limited TDP in mobo, it have 90TDP, if unlock cpu will become 125TDP .. The cpu good and succes if use mobo 790 .. I out of idea, apologize me if can help you.

no u need to hava a AMD SB750/ SB710 SouthBridge chip and the max tdp of ur mobo wouldnt support it
