How to unlock the sd card in the phone memory

My sd card is not supportting inmy phone.what ever i download it's not downloading. But my sd card is new. Please help me friends . it's 16GB sd card

What do you mean its not supporting. Your phone does not detect it? Can you use the adapter and try to put it in a computer? Also, can you use a USB cable and see if the computer sees your SD card. What kind of phone is it? It should say Phone, and then another device for Card
