How to unmerge the phone and meme soft keys on my samsung galaxy grand prime

I just got the Straight talk Galaxy grand prime, love it so far. One issue tho, as I was checking the soft keys out, somehow the phone key and memo key merged onto "one"big soft key! I hate this b/c when I need to make a call, I have to choose phone icon or memo icon off this huge big key. Not a disaster but frustrating since they were seperate at first. Any help, tips, etc. Would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

You should be able to tap and hold the icon that it is now and it will offer the option to split them up.

I agree with you, I want to use individual ones, not have to open basically folders to get to them.
