Chromecast is an inexpensive way to play media from your Galaxy S7 on your TV. If you’re tired of squinting at your cellphone screen or want to share a movie with friends, you can have it up and running in minutes. Here’s how to use the Galaxy S7 with Chromecast.

You will need either a smart TV that has Chromecast or a Chromecast dongle for this to work.

Galaxy S7 and Chromecast
Nobody likes seeing cables everywhere so connecting your TV to your Galaxy S7 wirelessly is definitely the way to go. Given Chromecast dongles only cost a few dollars, this is a cheap and easy way to connect the two devices.

1. Connect the Chromecast to an HDMI port on your TV and turn the TV on.
2. Connect both the TV and the S7 to the same Wi-Fi network.
3. Open the Google Play Store on your S7 and install the Chromecast app.
4. Follow the installation wizard to complete setup.
5. Access the media you want to share and you should now see a ‘Cast’ icon with the app.
6. Alternatively, open the Chromecast app, select Menu and ‘Cast screen/audio and then select your Chromecast.

You should now see the media playing on your TV. If playback doesn’t begin right away, stop the app on the S7 and restart it. If playback stutters, move your phone closer to the TV or check your Wi-Fi network signal strength.
