One of the neat features of your new Amazon Fire TV is that you can use it as a virtual karaoke machine. When you are listening to music, X-Ray for Music will display the words. Much like a karaoke machine, the lyrics will be highlighted line by line on your Amazon Fire TV. You can sing along as the music plays. To view song lyrics on your Amazon Fire TV, follow these steps:
Step 1: Starting at your Home screen, select Music.
Step 2: There are a few different ways that you can search for songs. You can search or browse Albums to discover music. You can also use the voice command feature. Press and hold the Voice button on your remote. Speak an album or song title and your Amazon Fire TV will locate it. All songs that have lyrics will be listed with [+Lyrics] beside it.
Step 3: When you select a song and play it, the words will automatically be displayed as the song plays. You can scroll through the lyrics while the song plays if you choose. Use the Up and Down arrows on your remote to scroll. While scrolling if you want to skip ahead or go back to a certain part of a song, you can do so by pressing Select.
Most songs purchased from the Amazon Digital Store will have the words available. Songs that you import to your Music Library that match titles in the Amazon Digital store catalog will also have lyrics. Some songs, such as those you transfer with a USB cable, may not match a title in the Amazon Digital Store catalog and, as a result, may not have the lyrics available.
