How would a gaming laptop perform in 2 years time on the current games?

Disclaimer: Laptop because a PC isn't an option for me.

I want to get a laptop with a Core i7-4700MQ, 8GB RAM and a GTX 770M and while that performs at High well on most games how will it do on current games in 2 years time?

It depends on the screen resolution. If the screen has a 3k resolution, not so much. 1080p should be viable, though.
