My sony vaio laptop has been stolen
my friend told me that the pesron who stolen my laptop can change ip address and mac address is it possible to change these address and use net easily

What do you expect anyone here to do for you? Report it stolen and buy another laptop.

Call the police. There's obviously nothing we can do for you.

Its not a cell phone where you have to register the esn number to get service, its just wifi.
They do not need to change MAC address to be able to use the laptop, and the IP address changes with the network it is connected to.

There is absolutly nothing that we can do here to help you get your laptop back if you did not put lowjack or some other antitheft software on it.
