Looking to pick up a laptop in the next few weeks.

My budget is 700 Canadian before taxes.
Need to be decent for gaming for current and upcoming titles.

The Lenovo Y570 is what I have been looking at will this fill my needs?

looks like a solid machine for entry level gaming, just don't try to play games on battery

It should be fine for games as long as you do not insist on playing games with the highest graphic settings. Medium quality will be fine.

I have the 14" Lenovo IdeaPad Y470 with the slightly slower nVidia GT 550M and I can play Crysis 1 on medium settings and AA set to x2. While testing the game in the 2nd chapter, "Relic", I was basically able to get around 35 - 44 FPS most of the time.
