Hp 630 battery not charging

Hello,
i just got a brand new HP 630 notebook and it does not go on using the battery. please help as i have been all over the net and it seems there is no proper answer

Not for nothing but if it's brand new why not take it back to where you purchased it. The battery may simply be dead or you have a bad charging circuit.

I would recommend returning the unit as well if its not working properly. Did you purchase from HP?

Just Re-plug the battery with the laptop running with the adapter will help you.
