Solved! HP laptop crashes

Hi there. Recently my hp pavilion has been crashing unexpectedly and when it does it goes on for about 20 minutes just repeating continuously. I get coloured lines on the screen and the laptop will keep on turning off then on repeatedly for a long time. Please help me

Sounds like you may have an overheating issue. And it may be a GPU that is overheating. I would have it looked at by a tech.

While I can't say it 'couldn't' be them, it is more likely an overheating issue. Can't hurt to run a temp monitoring program to see.
