HP Laptop issue

Hi all I have just developed problems with my laptop, the icons on my desktop and in start up changed to the adobe reader icon all except recycle bin? If I try to start the add ons shown I am taken to a dialogue box with Internet explorer as heading and the title of the programme followed by .Ink. Asks me what I want to do but then wont let me? When I go into all programmes from start up its the same. I tried to remove the add ons from start up but it wont let me. Any advice would be appreciated thanks.

Most probably you are affected by malware. What antivirus are you using ? Try a free antivirus (eg Avira) and / or paid trials (eg Bitdefender) and do a thorough scan of your system.
