Hp Laptop Turns on Boot Screen Constantly Spins

Hello,

Today my laptop suddenly froze as I was using it. The only way for me to regain access was to reset it manually by taking the power source out. When I turned the laptop on it is constantly stuck on the HP boot screen with the spinning circle.

Is there anything I can do?

Try booting with Hiren CD or a Linux Live CD/DVD. If you can boot then your operating system is damage and you must reinstall it.

If you can't boot even with those tools, there is a highly chance of physical damage to you laptop and you should take it to a repair center.
