We've got the above laptop and are on a replacement battery charger. It's not the retail HP one as it was $30 more. The issue we're having is that the jack from the battery charger doesn't want to stay in the jack in the laptop. We have to wiggle it just right for the charging light to come on. And often times we have to angle the cord just right for it to work.
Now I read on someones blog right quick that different chargers have smaller or larger jacks...how could we determine if one jack end is bigger than another? Or is it the actual jack inside the laptop that may have gone wonky.... if so, do they sell replacements for just that portion of the laptop or am I looking at buying a parts laptop and swapping...
Hopefully a larger jack end would do the trick.
Any insight?
