HP Spectre x360 questions

I've been looking around over the last few days trying to find a good 2 in1 and it seems like the Spectre is the of the best all around 2 in 1 currently out. From the research I have done it seems like the new Skylake CPU in the refreshed version doesn't really do much other than marginally increase battery life. Leading me to believe I can save money buying the older model and upgrading it to windows 10. However, I don't know if the Spectre will allow that. I understand a bios update has been released that might help but I wanted to see if anyone has experience updating last years model to windows 10?

I would say it's a good deal for a 2 and 1 laptop based from the reviews I've read as well.
