HP vs Toshiba vs Lenovo

Currently looking for a new multipurpose laptop... I have a work laptop, and an Apple iPad so the new laptop will mainly be for iTunes.. However the reason I do not use my current laptop for work is that it is just too slow. I am a teacher so frequently using Microsoft office to design resources.. If the laptop was decent enough I would like to use it for work also.

I settled for a cheap laptop quite some years ago for university, and although I am not looking to spend a fortune I also do not want to settle for one of the cheaper models.

I am not tech savvy and have no idea what the latest specs are.. I have looked around at the above mentioned brands as they seem in my price range. Memory is key for me, as is speed!!

Any recommendations??

Has a Core i5-4210 cpu and a 1 TB hard drive with 6 GB of RAM. Should be plenty fast. I have a Lenovo for over 2 years, and would recommend.
