I have an HP zv5405us laptop (http/h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00286662&tmp_task=prodinfoCategory&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&product=447440). It currently houses a mini pci Broadcom 802.11a/b/g card in it. I would like to upgrade it to an 802.11n card. I've heard here and there that there have been issue with HP and hardware whitelists?
Does anyone know if I can pull and replace the oem card relatively pain free?
