I am not sure how such a reputable site can recommend Fitbit products. I have had Fitbit charge hr, hr 2, hr 3 and hr 5. Also had the two arias. All of these failed after some time. Mostly after the warranty ran out. It is mighty stupid of me to keep coming back. I even want to buy the charge 6 knowing pretty well that it won’t last more than a year and a half. My charge hr 5 used to last for almost 7 days - then all of a sudden some update happened and it started dying (hundreds of users reported similar issues) within a few hours and now does not even start up. HR 3 works but without any display. While my dad still uses his Apple Watch 2 I gifted him in 2017 without any problem - it is a little slow but he is fine with it.
