Don't be fooled by the HD upgrade, these simple graphic filters have been around for decades on PC emulators such as znes, mame, and various others. It's just a blitter technique that takes those "jaggies" away but still looks a bit faded around the edges. THAT is the trade-off and for $99.99, you are getting ripped off when it's free to begin with... =(

I don't think its a rip-off, for some emulators it can be a hassle to set them up, then you have to configure the keys for every single game, whereas I imagine this has default keys set, and allows you to use the original controllers. Im assuming also that it has slots for the cartridges so you can legally play the games you own, emulating is usually a touchy subject seeing as the games usually have to be downloaded illegally

Or I can just connect my PC to my HDTV through HDMI, play all the same games and more, but with even better graphics thanks to more filter choices.

Some Retro and Classic games are we can never forget them. So, it's great to see that Hyperkin is ready to launch a console specially for wonderful classic and retro games. It's truly great.
