I’m trying to connect my LG Blu Ray DVD player to the WiFi, I have followed all steps to connect but when I click connection setting it says “check the network connection cable” and I don’t know what to do cuz I can’t watch Netflix or update without internet. If you guys can help I would be really appreciated.

It asks for "cable" suggests it's looking for a WIRED connection. There should be a setting somewhere in there to let you select WIRED/WIRELESS, and of course sounds like you want wireless.

What model is your player? Not all models have wireless capability, some may need an additional device to be bough, some may just have an ethernet port.
