I am trying to share my internet connection from my laptop but it is not working.... what will I do?

You need to set up a HOTSPOT network on your phone (uses you cellular network data), and then connect your laptop to THAT hotspot network. I assume you want to do that when away from your home WiFi connection, and treat your own phone hotspot as a secure connection?
