You can try unplugging the TV from the wall outlet for 10 minutes and trying it again. I suspect it will require repair. Depending on the age and screen size a replacement TV (used or new) might be cheaper especially if you can do the repair yourself. Bad power supply would be the first suspected failure.
You may be able to find replacement boards online.
