I can not turn my wifi on my dell Inspiron 15 3000 series

I have tried FN+F12 F2 and all of those. The switch doesn't stay on

I had the same thing with a DELL INSPIRON.
I could put flight mode ON and OFF but the WiFi remained OFF.

Tried everyhing ... drivers, BIOS flash, removed battery even reinstalled Windows.
In the end the solution was disabling the Intel SpeedStep in the BIOS. You can reenable it afterwards. Something with deep sleep or so.

Try FN+Prt screen. I was facing a similar issue and this worked for me!
