I have a custom CLEVO P370EM and a 46" Toshiba LED-TV Piece of Crap.
I can give stats but I do not really think it is relevant, other than
I am using Windows 7 Pro, and I have dual SLI NVIDIA Geforce GTX 670MX with a HDMI and a DisplayPort
It used to work on my laptop with minor issues.
It stopped one day for no reason I can determine.
It may have been after a Windows or NVIDIA Update .. but it was not Immediately after the update. It stopped working WHILE I was Watching something. At First, I thought it was the TV, as it has issues where it overheats (or Something) and Blacks out. But It works just fine with the DVD player right now.
I have tried:
~Four different cables
~All Four HDMI inputs on the TV and YES I was on the right input on the TV
~Two other computers STILL work on the TV
~My HDMI port works with the two other monitors I tested (I do not have access to another TV to test it on another TV)
~I reformatted...... because I thought something was zapped in Windows 7 because I had the program that controls the Keyboard LEDs mess up shortly after. (It appears there is no fix for the program so I uninstalled it.)
~Windows is updated
~All Drivers are installed and updated
~Using FN F7 (Display Toggle) and FN F2 (LCD Backlight) ... Blacks out the Laptop Monitor and in the case of F7 Blacks out the Display Port Monitor (this Laptop and has run both monitors and the TV at the same time, but normally I close the laptop to Black out the Laptop screen.)
Unplugging, Rebooting, turning the TV on/off and any combination of the above have made no difference in the [NO SIGNAL] message on the TV
~Disabling and Enabling the SLI (it makes you reboot each time)
I do not have a DiplayPort to HDMI cable to test it that way. I cannot afford one at this time.
The worst part is that the LAPTOP sees the LED-TV and tells me it is working but I have no picture, and it makes the CONNECT/DISCONNECT sound when I unplug or turn off the TV.
There is NO driver for my Toshiba LED-TV that I can download. And the last time I contacted Toshiba Support for something (When the Previous less than a week old TV Blew up) They were LESS THAN HELPFUL, despite the DO NOT TAKE BACK TO THE STORE sticker.. I had to get the Store I bought it from Replace and upgrade it. Needless to say, my NEXT TV will NOT be a Toshiba... EVER!
I keep finding forums that say the problem is "FIXED" but there is nothing on them that tells me how to fix it or that the other person's problem was solved.
Thank you in advance for any good advice you may have.
