I cant hear

my xbox one headset doesn't work. i can talk into it and my friends can hear, but i cant hear them. My headset is a beexcellent gm-1, Also i've tried to go to chat mixer but it did not show up

New headset?

Did the beexcellent headset work before? Any known drops or cable pulls?

Does it work on other audio devices? Do other headsets work on your xbox one?

Check all of the connectors, adapters, plugs that may be being used. Look for signs of damage. Swap out with a known working connector, adapter, or plug if at all possible.

Need to narrow down the problem to headset or xbox. Or some component in between.
