I cant login

After i set up the tablet and put my parnet password i tried to login to my gmaik account and it wont let me but I'm connected to my cell phone hotshot and still not doing anything
When i try to ipdate the tablet its saus im not connected to wifi but ian connected .

Perhaps you entered the wrong password for your hotspot. That is the most common issue. Also, make sure the phone's ability to be a hotspot is turned on.
