Solved! I don't have a hot spot but I have the same problem

you see I don't have a hotspot on my phone but I have the same problem with youtube and I cannot get any video to load cannot seem to find out what the answer to my problem is what do I do?

Is the device on the network OK, everything else works? Does it work on WiFi or on cell data or on neither? Did you try uninstalling and re-installing the YouTube app?
