I don't have a microsoft account. How can I use the laptop with out micosoft account?

I don't have a Microsoft account. I have an aol account and a gmail account. How can I register it with those account? It states that the Microsoft account is necessary. When I click on Don't have an account or Create an account it does nothing. I click on Next and it does nothing.

What are you trying to do? Login to windows 8 for first time?? If so click on create an account and then put you want a local account or an offline one.

choose to login using the local account

MS account is your outlook/hotmail account, if you have one then you should go with it
