I don't know what laptop to get. Please help

so I am getting a laptop soon and I am not sure which one to get...
I need it mainly for school work also to study -powerpoint presentations, microsoft excel, word etc-
it has to have smooth performance. I'll also use it to surf the internet of course. it doesn't have to have a touch screen... I want a laptop not a netbook or something like surface pro.
it can be any model, but i would prefer a newer one. ummm i7 processor also a 15" or above
screen size. theres also colors for laptop right and I dont want any bright colors black or silver or grey would be perfect.
also the battery life has to be moderate not to short you know? and for the storage capacity it can't be too small.
I cant buy online and as for the pricing it can range anywhere from 700USD to 800USD(about MYR2500 - MYR2900 -MYR= Malaysian Ringgit) -a little over would be fine but in this range-
is there laptops with all the microsoft stuff already installed or do I have to buy it separately?

PLEASE ANSWER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE BECAUSE I REALLY NEED IT. THANK YOU.

thanks for your help but what bout the programs like powerpoint and microsoft office? is it installed inside or do i have to buy? are there any other laptops? I saw a few ASUS ones at the store but I dont if theyre good or not/

Microsoft office, excel etc are not installed by default. you should get that separately.

but you can ask (request) that softwares from store vendor or laptop dealers which you are buying laptop. i think they will install those softwares for free of cost. you can also request them to install many other software which are necessary to do day to day activities. dont feel shy to ask, you are buying product more than 2500 ringgit!!

ill give you some more laptop options you can ask them in shops :-

in asus many are 4GB ram. in future you will require 8GB to do most of the tasks. but you can upgrade it later,
