I get no signal when i use moniter with my laptop

Hello,
my screen needs replacing so i pluged it into a moniter ,the first two times i had no problem but now i get a no signel message even though my other laptop works fine

well no signal means there's no signal, make sure the laptop is set to output to external screen. Refer to your user manual for keyboard shortcuts and functions
