Its a big black square right in the center of my tv i think its something 2 do with the picture in picture

The display on large HDTV screens are subdivided into many square regions (they are approximately 1' x 1' on mine). These small images combine to form the the large HDTV image. One of these display images has failed on your TV. The picture in picture that you mentioned are almost always in one of the corners, not in the middle.

It may be a serviceable problem. But it is likely to be expensive to repair.
