I have a pavilion laptop A8 and I can't locate the wireless key

I am trying to connect to the internet that I have been using and somehow got kicked off. The help icon says to make sure the airplane mode is off and that my wireless switch is on. I hit every f-key (not swearing) and I am still unable to access the wifi or Internet.

Try going to start -> control panel -> classic view on upper left -> scroll to the bottom line of icons and click mobility center -> upper right click turn wireless on.
