i have a question

my laptop has HDMI port but when i connect to the tv it wont work. i was using notebook before when i connect it to my tv twas easy. i just go to display settings then detect then im ready to watch,, but i change to a bigger laptop it doesnt say its hdmi but it has hdmi port. so.. can i connect it to my tv via hdmi? when i click the display settings and click detect nothing happened

Hi,

Yes you can connect your laptop to your TV via HDMI. Just press then Windows key + P at the same time and select between Extended or Duplicate display then press Enter. That should make your TV work with your laptop.
