You don't normally need to turn on external speakers. On my Samsung the optical output is always live, so it's just a question of turning off the internal speakers.

I know but i had another samsung tv and i was able to turn off internal speakers to allow external speakers to play,

If your TV has no option to turn off the internal speakers then you have a problem. I'm surprised, because that is a very expensive TV whereas mine is a much cheaper one. You might like to ask Samsung customer support.

Since the volume control of the TV doesn't affect the optical audio output just turn the volume down all the way..
