I have a Yamaha a/v receiver and a jvc sea 22 graphic equalizer can they be used together?

I have a Yamaha a/v receiver and a jvc sea 22 graphic equalizer can I use them together and if so how do I hook it up?

The only way to connect the EQ is in between an external analog source and an analog input on the receiver. There is no way to connect it with any of the digital sources.
