I have an Amazon fire tv and a Samsung tv. The tv turns on by itself and goes to Netflix

I have a Amazon Fire and Samsung TV. I will switch from Netflix to regular tv when I shut it off at nite. It turns on by itself and goes to Netflix. Don’t know what to do about this issue.

Try turning off CEC or as Samsung calls it Anynet+ in the TV menu.

On the Amazon Fire TV, there is a setting under Settings/Display & Sound called HDMI Device Central. Turn it off
